Within the IT sector, the Information Services segment accounted for Sales in Spain of €6391 million in 2008 and it was invested €201 million in the acquisition of enterprise resource management software (ERP vertical applications) which represents an increase of 15% and 9.5% respectively compare to 2007. In terms of employment there were over 6,000 jobs created in the sector bringing the total number of people working in the sector to 208.000 (2.1% more than the previous year).
